If you have questions about the processing of your personal data or wish to exercise your rights, please use the contact details above.
2. Hosting and access data
Our website is hosted by united-domains GmbH, Gautinger Straße 10, 82319 Starnberg, Germany. When the website is accessed, technical access data are processed. According to the provider, these include the domain accessed, the IP address, date and time of access, the request method and the referrer address.
The processing serves to provide the website, keep it running reliably and detect and prevent security incidents. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable operation of our website.
The access data are stored in log files. The IP address is shortened immediately: its last part is replaced with a "0", so it can no longer be attributed to an individual connection. According to united-domains, the log files are kept for eight weeks and then deleted. We can also access these logs and use them solely for the purposes stated above.
3. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide, in particular your name, your contact details and the content of your enquiry, in order to deal with your request and communicate with you.
If your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. We handle other enquiries on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in properly handling and answering your enquiry.
4. Contact form
Our website offers a contact form for enquiries. Your name, email address and message are required; you may also provide your company, phone number, sector and topic. When you submit the form, the data are transmitted over an encrypted connection to the server of our hosting provider united-domains and forwarded to us by email from there. The data are not stored in a website database.
The legal basis and retention period are the same as for contact by email or phone. To protect against automated spam, we use an invisible check field and a time check. No cookies are set and no third-party services are involved for this.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use no cookies, store no information in your browser's local storage and use no analytics or advertising tools. The language you see is determined solely by the address you open (German pages under "/", English pages under "/en/"). We do not embed content from external providers; fonts are loaded from our own server.
6. Retention and recipients
Data from enquiries are deleted once the matter has been concluded and there is no other permissible purpose for storing them. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected. Where data are needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, they may be stored for as long as necessary for that purpose.
Personal data are passed on to recipients only where this is necessary for the purposes stated, where there is a legal obligation or where another legal basis applies. Technical service providers may have access to data in the course of their tasks.
7. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right of access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing up to the withdrawal remains unaffected.
Right to object: Where data are processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(e) or (f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless there are compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You may object to processing for direct marketing at any time without giving reasons; this includes related profiling.
You can exercise your rights by contacting us at mm@moving-mountains.net. To prevent unauthorised disclosure, reasonable proof of identity may be required.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. For private companies in Bavaria, the competent authority is generally the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision: www.lda.bayern.de.
9. Provision of data
Processing the necessary access data is required for the technical delivery of the website. If you contact us, we need the information required to handle your enquiry. Without this information, we may not be able to process it.
